I look forward to connecting!

What is Reiki?

Reiki combines two Japanese words: Rei meaning Spirit or Sacred and Ki meaning Energy. Reiki is universal life energy channeled through a practitioner to a client to relieve stress and pain, and aid spiritual and emotional healing. Reiki helps to lower blood pressure, relieve your mind, and help you connect with your heart, your intuition, and your own energy. It can help bring a racing mind back to stillness and balance the unbalanced.

What can I expect?

Each virtual session is individually tailored to meet your needs. The appointment will last for about an hour and we will conclude the session discussing the experience. As a Reiki practioner, I tap into universal life force energy rather than into my own energy to help others.

How should I prepare?

You are welcome to wear comfortable clothes and find a place in your house where you are able to lie down and be free from distractions. If you would like to play gentle spa music in the background, you are welcome to do so. Here are some songs and playlists that I love:

Code of Ethics

As a Reiki practitioner I shall strive to do good and no harm always, and I agree to:

  1. Abide by a vow of confidentiality. Any information that is discussed within the context of a Reiki session is confidential between the client and practitioner.
  2. For in-person sessions, provide a safe and comfortable area that fosters an empowering and supportive environment for clients.
  3. Abide by all state, province, territory, national, local, or county laws and regulations, if any, regarding Reiki.
  4. Always treat clients with the utmost of respect and honor.
  5. Maintain a pure and clear intention to offer my services for the highest healing good and potential of the client.
  6. In Reiki practice, provide a brief oral or written description of what happens during a session and what to expect before a client's initial session.
  7. Be respectful of all others’ Reiki views and paths.
  8. Educate clients on the value of Reiki and explain that sessions do not guarantee a cure, nor are they ever a substitute for qualified medical or professional care. Reiki is one part of an integrative healing or wellness program, meant to enhance traditional treatment protocols.
  9. Suggest a consultation or referral to qualified, licensed professionals (e.g., medical doctors, licensed therapists) when appropriate.
  10. Never diagnose or prescribe. Never suggest that the client change prescribed treatment or interfere with the treatment of a licensed health care provider.
  11. Be sensitive to the boundary needs of individual clients.
  12. Never ask clients to disrobe. Never touch the bikini areas, and practice hands-off healing of these areas if treatment is needed.
  13. Work to create harmony and foster friendly cooperation between Reiki practitioners and Master Teachers in the community, representing the IARP in the most professional manner.
  14. Act as a beacon in the community by doing the best work possible.
  15. Be actively engaged in my own healing journey to fully embody and express the essence of Reiki in everything I do.
